Converting from Joomla to Drupal
In July 2006, after several years of hand-coding the HTML on this website, we made the switch to a content management system called Joomla. The goal was to make keeping the site up-to-date a whole lot easier. It helped, but while Joomla's back-end is powerful, site administration was a pain. So, after a year and a half, we have decided to give the new Drupal version 6.1 a chance to impress us.
At first glance, there is still a lot to configure, though the administration looks a bit more manageable. Please bear with us during this transition period. The old Joomla site is still running if you need to grab a file before it is available here. Hopefully the transition shouldn't take too long. Enjoy!
